When Spring Replaced the Winter focuses on the transition from winter into spring. Ice melts, water returns, and the landscape begins to open up again. Lakes, cottages, and shorelines come back into use, while views looking up into the trees capture the moment buds turn to leaves.
The series features islands, waterfalls, and water surfaces that reflect light and movement. Rather than focusing on specific locations, the work is about the experience of being outside during this seasonal shift — walking, spending time near the water, and noticing the change in light and temperature.
